Set for a global release on iOS and Android in 2025, Pudgy Party promises a fresh take on party gaming. Unlike traditional knockout-style games such as Fall Guys, Pudgy Party emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and shared rewards, creating a vibrant and inclusive gaming environment.
An Inclusive and Joyful Experience
“Our mission is to create an inclusive and joyful experience where players can connect and celebrate together,” said Luca Netz, CEO of Pudgy Penguins, in a statement announcing the game.
Players will engage in activities like dodging obstacles, strategizing collections, and competing or collaborating with others. Customization will be central, allowing users to personalize their penguin avatars and advance through different skill levels.
Blockchain Integration and Brand Expansion
Pudgy Party will be built on the Mythos Chain, a blockchain network under the Polkadot umbrella. While specific details about the blockchain’s role in the game remain under wraps, developers confirmed the integration as a core component of the project.
The Pudgy Penguins brand has a history of incorporating blockchain technology. Its plush toys and figurines, available at major retailers such as Target and Walmart, come with codes that let buyers unlock NFT customization items for the Pudgy World game on Ethereum’s zkSync layer-2 network.
Mythical Games’ Expertise
Partnering with Mythical Games, known for titles like NFL Rivals and Blankos Block Party, adds further credibility to Pudgy Party’s development. Mythical’s expertise in combining gaming and blockchain technology positions the game as a promising addition to the NFT gaming ecosystem.
