The much-anticipated Axie Classic Competitive Season 7 is officially live, offering players the chance to compete for over 35,000 AXS in rewards over the next four weeks.
The Top 16 players on the leaderboard will qualify for the Season Championship, where the ultimate champion will earn a spot in the Axie Classic World Cup. Additionally, daily Mini Tournaments are back, with 500 AXS in prizes available every day. Winners of Mini Tournaments will also earn AXP based on their performance.
New Features and Game Modes
This season introduces a brand-new PvE Tower Mode, where players can ascend two types of towers—Nightmare Towers, featuring Nightmare Axies, and Community Towers, loaded with player-submitted axie teams. Players earn stars and AXP as they climb the increasingly difficult floors.
Additionally, 33 new Level 2 cards have been added to Cursed Coliseum, including fresh options for Bird, Bug, and Reptile axies. Artifacts have also been updated, enabling players to save them directly to specific teams for easier management.
S7 Rewards Breakdown
Here’s a quick look at the rewards available this season:
- Guild Leaderboard Pool: 10,000 AXS
- Season Champion Pool: 3,000 AXS
- Guild Milestone Rewards: 3,000 AXS
- Mini Tournament Daily Rewards: 500 AXS
- Golden Wheel Prizes: Win AXS and SLP by spinning the Golden Wheel
Mini Tournaments will run until February 1, offering players daily opportunities to win prizes and earn AXP. Victories in Newbie, Pro, and Master tournaments will grant 200 AXP, 300 AXP, and 400 AXP, respectively.
Introducing Gear
A new feature called Gear has debuted this season. Gear can be equipped, upgraded, and crafted, similar to Runes and Charms in Axie Origins. While Gear doesn’t yet have full functionality, it is expected to provide in-game utility starting in Season 8.
Season Championship Format
The Season Championship will feature the top 16 players from the leaderboard in a double-elimination format. Players will submit 13 axies, with a drafting phase to ban four axies before each match. Matches will be Best-of-Five (BO5), while the final championship will be a Best-of-Seven (BO7) contest.
