Introduction
RavenQuest is a vast and complex MMORPG where players can mix and match different archetypes to create unique classes. This guide will help you understand the archetypes, how to build your character, and which choices can give you an advantage in the early game.
Choosing Your First Archetype
At the start of the game, you must select an archetype. It is highly recommended to choose a ranged or magical archetype such as:
- Archery – Uses bows for long-range attacks.
- Wizardry – Offers powerful magic spells.
- Witchcraft – Focuses on curses and life-draining abilities.
Tip: Avoid melee-focused archetypes like Warfare or Protection at the start, as early competition for enemies makes it harder to land attacks.
Unlocking More Archetypes
- Level 7: Choose a second archetype.
- Level 15: Choose a third archetype.
- Once you have three archetypes, all of your archetypes will automatically sync to level 15.
- Archetypes can be changed anytime, so feel free to experiment.
Popular Class Builds
Combining three archetypes creates a class. Here are some well-known builds:
Fighter (Archery + Protection + Warfare)
A balanced melee-ranged hybrid build that allows flexibility in weapon choices, from bows to great axes.
Shade Striker (Archery + Warfare)
A damage-heavy class that trades defense for high attack power.
Herald (Witchcraft + Protection + Spiritual)
A hybrid build with healing and sustain, useful for solo and team play.
Hex Warden (Witchcraft + Wizardry)
A powerful spellcasting build for dealing massive magic damage.
Runesmith (Spiritual + Witchcraft + Protection)
A healer-support build with strong party buffs and defensive skills.
Cleric (Holy + Protection)
A dedicated healing class best suited for group content.

Skill Points and Card System
Each level grants skill points that can be assigned to abilities. Skills can also be modified using cards, which alter their effects. For example:
- Vampire Raver Card: Increases critical chance when attacking low-health enemies.
- Dawn’s Light Card: Converts healing effects into area damage.
Tip: Cards provide endless customization, so experiment to find the best combinations.
