Understanding Gear in RavenQuest

Gear plays a crucial role in your character’s progression in RavenQuest. This guide breaks down the different types of armor, weapons, and stat distribution to help you make informed choices.

Types of Armor

There are three main types of armor in RavenQuest, each with unique bonuses that affect your playstyle:

  • Leather Armor
    • Two-piece bonus: +4% Critical Chance, -10% Stun/Slow/Snare duration
    • Full set bonus: +8% Critical Chance, -20% Stun/Slow/Snare duration
  • Plate Armor
    • Two-piece bonus: +3% Maximum Health, +4% Healing Received, +5% Weapon Defense
    • Full set bonus: +6% Maximum Health, +8% Healing Received, +10% Weapon Defense

Choosing the Right Armor for Your Playstyle

  • Early Game: Plate armor is recommended for its durability, as most monsters deal weapon-based damage.
  • Mid Game: A mix of Cloth and Plate provides a balance between attack speed and defense.
  • Late Game: Full Cloth or Leather is ideal when you can eliminate enemies quickly and need more critical damage.

Weapon Types and Their Effects

Weapons in RavenQuest come with passive abilities that enhance combat performance. Here are some key ones:

  • Two-Handed Weapons:
    • Greatsword: Increases attack damage by 12% for 8 seconds but increases damage received by 5%.
    • Hammer: Deals 200% weapon power in a cone area and provides healing.
    • Greataxe: Deals high AoE damage, making it excellent for clearing groups of enemies.
  • One-Handed Weapons & Shields:
    • Dagger: Increases critical chance by 15% for 8 seconds.
    • Sword & Shield: Provides a defensive shield absorbing damage.

Scepter: Grants a shield that absorbs damage for you and an ally.

Gear Progression & Stat Allocation

Gear comes in different tiers, from T1 (basic) to T7 (high-end). As you progress, gear gains additional attributes and quality crystals that enhance primary and secondary stats.

  • Primary Stats:
    • Vitality: Increases health, health regeneration, and defense.
    • Might: Boosts weapon power and defense.
    • Dexterity: Improves attack speed and evasion.
  • Secondary Stats:
    • Precision: Increases critical hit chance.
    • Impact: Enhances critical damage.

Haste: Reduces cooldown times and casting speed.

By understanding gear and optimizing your choices, you can maximize your character’s effectiveness in RavenQuest.
