The 12th season of Axie Origins is officially live! Over the next 8 weeks, players will battle for a massive 90,000 AXS prize pool, along with new features and improvements to enhance the competitive experience.

🏆 80K AXS will be awarded through the Leaderboard Rewards, with the Top 15,000 eligible for prizes.
🏆 7K AXS is reserved for Collectible Chest rewards.
🏆 3K AXS will go to the Elite 8 Tournament Champion.

S12 Leaderboards run from February 12, 10:00 UTC to March 26, 10:00 UTC.

New Axie Check-In Feature – Earn Daily Rewards

The Axie Check-In feature is now live, allowing players to earn points just by checking in with an Axie. These points can be redeemed for:
✅ Runes
✅ Charm Boxes
✅ Crafting Materials

Players who own higher-tier collectible Axies (Agamogenesis, Mystic, and Origins) will earn Elite Check-In Points, which can be used for extra-special rewards.Note: Collectible Runes and Charms will not be distributed this season. Their rewards have been shifted to the Axie Check-In Shop, offering even more total claimable rewards for collectible holders.

Gauntlet Mode Returns with Major Improvements

💠 New Entry Fee: Gauntlet Mode now costs 2 Stamina per run instead of SLP, making it more accessible to all players.
💠 New Buffs & Rules: The mode now features simplified buffs and randomized rules to keep battles fresh.
💠 New Gauntlet Rewards: Earn Gauntlet Points instead of SLP, which can be exchanged for Choice Boxes, Crafting Materials, AXP Boosters, and Luck Dice.

Other Major Updates in S12

🔹 Mystic++ Rune Upgrade Costs Reduced – Upgrading Mystic Level 2 → Level 3 Runes now requires 2 instead of 3 for a more balanced progression.
🔹 Balancing Updates – Season 12 brings fine-tuned gameplay adjustments for a more competitive experience.
🔹 Collectible Chest Rewards Reminder – Holders of collectible Axies who finish Rare Era at Tiger rank or higher will receive Collectible Chests filled with Tickets redeemable for AXS.
