Immutable Passport and Referral Code
Create an Immutable X passport and use it to log into the game. Once you have completed the introduction, claim all of your free rewards.
The first thing you want to do is add a referral code from a friend, if you don’t know anyone currently playing the game, join the Guild of Guardians Discord and use a code from the referral-code-sharing channel. You can post your own referral code in this channel or invite your friends to play Guild of Guardians!
Tutorial and Guardian Party
Progress through the early adventure tutorial to unlock your starter Guardians and use your 10 free summons.
The number of skills your Guardians have depends on their rarity:
Common – 1 skill
Rare – 2 skills
Epic – 3 skills
Legendary – 4 skills
Always use at least 1 Tank and 1 Healer to begin with. However, this will change as you progress (don’t worry, you can swap characters without cost). Position your tank and melee dps/second tank on the front row and your healers/mages/rangers at the back.
As you progress, your party size will increase to 5, make sure you fill these positions with your new summoned Guardians.
Disclaimer – The higher your commander level, the more slots you will unlock but you can only have 5 Guardians in a battle at once. Making 6 Guardians the same level is less effective than having 5 at a higher level for progression.
You will get the option to increase the speed of the battle to 200% – please be careful in early game as you may need to time your ultimate skills to progress through certain encounters.
If any of your Guardians die during an encounter you can pause and reset the battle by clicking the pause icon at the bottom left of your screen, allowing you to change the positions of your Guardians.
Level your Guardians equally at an early stage – there may be a time where a legendary 10 levels higher than your other Guardians can be more effective for a specific encounter but for now – keep things simple!
Enlightenment and Forging
Once you have 2 of the same Guardians you can “Enlighten” a Guardian. The game will tell you that the 2nd Guardian will be “consumed” – pay no attention to this, you have the option to reset each Guardian if you no longer wish to use or need a certain Guardian and in return you will get everything back, including any materials used in the “Enlightening” process as well as the leveling up process.
Craft gear in the forge as soon as possible – You want to aim for a full set of greens on each Guardian as a minimum, don’t worry about getting a full set of blues in the early game as the further you progress you can craft epic and legendary gear quite early on and you will be replacing your green/blue gear with them.
Use adventure energy to progress through the stages. Please note that you will passively regain 1 energy per hour but you can use gems and flasks to increase this. We recommend resetting your energy as much as possible if you are able to progress.
Complete the daily quests and claim your rewards.
