Axie Classic Demo Season 6: Major Updates, New Cards & Guild Rewards

Axie Classic Season 6 has officially entered the Demo phase, find out what's new ahead!

What’s New in the Axie Classic Demo Season?

From October 28 to November 2, 2024, Axie Classic will launch a Demo Season, offering players the chance to test several new features. While there won’t be any rewards like Battle Pass items, SLP/AXS from the Golden Wheel, or AXS from the guild leaderboard and Mini Tournaments during this period, there are still plenty of exciting updates to explore, including guild delegation, level 2 card effects, and a revamped Guild Point (GP) system.

Delegation in Axie Classic

Guild Delegation is now live! Players can delegate their Axies to scholars via the App.Axie Delegation Center or Batch Delegation Tool. For a full explanation of how delegation works, check out the official Notion document.

Cursed Coliseum: Testing Level 2 Cards

The Cursed Coliseum (CC) now includes Level 2 card parts, which are based on community feedback. Two cards, Swift Escape (Goldfish) and Upstream Swim (Koi), have been updated to increase their speed buffs from 1 to 2 rounds, improving strategic gameplay.

Guild Point (GP) Calculation Changes

The GP system has been overhauled in response to player feedback. For Season 6, changes include a new calculation method for Cursed Coliseum GP, as well as updates to how Mini Tournaments contribute to your guild’s GP totals. A key change is the removal of the x2 multiplier that was previously planned. Now, Mini Tournaments will have a more significant impact on GP earnings.

Only the top 50 GP-earning players per day will count toward a guild’s total GP.

How GP is Calculated: Example and Breakdown

Under the new system, players will no longer need to sum GP from multiple sessions. Instead, the highest GP earned in either a Cursed Coliseum or Mini Tournament session will be recorded. Once a session ends, the GP earned is added to your total.

For example:

If they later win 7-1 in another CC session and earn 16 GP, that score will be recorded as their new highest, updating their total GP for the day

If a player earns 14 GP from a Mini Tournament, that becomes their highest GP score for the day.

If they then participate in a Cursed Coliseum session and lose, they’ll keep their 14 GP.

Guild Chat Feature

A new Guild Chat feature is now available for testing within the Classic client. Players can chat directly with guild members while online. Guild Leaders/Commanders have the ability to mute/unmute members, while Guild Interns can only view the chat. Be sure to promote your guildmates to Guild Member status to unlock full functionality.

New Guild Point Milestones

To balance out the reduced GP cap per day, the required GP for reaching AXS milestone rewards has been adjusted. The updated system ensures that AXS rewards are distributed among guilds based on their achievement levels. If multiple guilds hit the same milestone, AXS is divided accordingly.

Changes to the Premium Pass

Season 6 brings significant updates to the Premium Pass based on player feedback:

  • Rewards will now be granted automatically once players hit milestones in a game.
  • The price of the Premium Pass is reduced from 5000 gems to 1500 gems.
  • Mystic Axie owners get a 100% discount code for each Mystic Axie in their inventory.
  • Season 6 will be the last to offer the 100% gem bonus, so it’s a good time to stock up.
  • SLP and AXS rewards are replaced with lottery tickets for collectible Axie raffles:
    • Tier 1: 1 Origin Axie
    • Tier 2: 1 Japan Axie
    • Tier 3: 1 Summer Axie
    • Tier 4: 1 Normal Axie
    • Tier 5 (Pity): 100 Gold
