‘Hamster Kombat’ Airdrop: Player Guide to Maximize Rewards

Hamster Kombat gears up to airdrop token rewards driven by player engagement and strategy.

How big will your airdrop be? Hamster Kombat has revealed six categories that will determine how many tokens you can claim.

Hamster Kombat, a Telegram-based tap-to-earn game, has sparked significant excitement with its upcoming airdrop of HMSTR tokens. Originally set for July, the airdrop was delayed as developers adjusted plans to accommodate the game’s immense player base, now exceeding 300 million.

What is Hamster Kombat?

Hamster Kombat invites players to step into the role of a hamster CEO managing a crypto exchange. Its simple tap-to-earn mechanics are paired with strategic upgrades, creating an engaging gaming experience. The game’s token, HMSTR, will launch on The Open Network (TON), a blockchain originally developed by Telegram, following in the footsteps of Notcoin’s successful $3 billion peak market cap.

When Will the Airdrop Happen?

While a July release was initially planned, technical adjustments postponed the airdrop. Currently, the event is listed as “upcoming” on the official website. In the meantime, major exchanges such as OKX and KuCoin have begun pre-market trading for HMSTR tokens, fueling further anticipation.

Hamster Kombat Airdrop Explained

While players are understandably excited about the token launch and airdrop, it won’t be the only batch of crypto rewards coming from Hamster Kombat. The team has confirmed plans for a second in-game season of rewards alongside continued evolution and expansion for the game—so worry not, Hamster Kombat isn’t calling it quits after the token drops.

How many tokens will players get?

It’s not yet known how many tokens players will be able to claim. Notcoin, which set the standard for this kind of Telegram game airdrop, gave players one on-chain NOT token for every 1,000 in-game coins they mined in the game.

Hamster Kombat appears to be taking a different approach, however. Early in June, the team tweeted that airdrop allocations will not be handled simply based on how many coins you stack up in the game before some deadline ahead.

“Airdrop will depend on the profit per hour and some other [activity] parameters that we will reveal later, NOT the coin balance,” the official game account tweeted on June 6, adding that users should “play wisely.” And on June 18, the team again tweeted “profit per hour over coin balance,” attempting to reinforce the notion after plenty of questions on the matter.

How to Maximize Your Airdrop

Hamster Kombat’s airdrop won’t be determined solely by in-game coin balance. Instead, six categories will influence token allocations:

  • Keys: Playing mini-games like daily puzzles to earn keys.
  • Passive Income: Upgrading features to enhance coin-generation rates.
  • Earn Tasks: Completing activities like daily check-ins and watching videos.
  • Friends: Inviting active players to join the game.
  • Achievements: Reaching milestones and unlocking features.
  • Telegram Channel: Subscribing to the official Hamster Kombat channel.

Unlike Notcoin’s straightforward model, Hamster Kombat encourages reinvestment of earned coins into upgrades to increase profit-per-hour, boosting passive earning potential. Players must also connect their TON wallet to claim their tokens, ensuring fair distribution.

Beyond the Airdrop

Hamster Kombat plans to introduce additional seasons of in-game rewards alongside new features that cater to diverse playstyles. The game’s philosophy avoids mandatory participation, allowing players to explore freely while earning.

As players prepare for the airdrop, they can track their progress using the game’s “Airdrop allocation points” tracker, now available within the Telegram mini app. Although the point system isn’t live yet, it provides insights into how allocations may be calculated.
