Transform your Axies with Axie Infinity’s Wings of Nightmare Event

The Wings of Nightmare event is set to go live on November 21 at 3 PM PHT / 2 AM EST, bringing a transformative experience to Lunacia. Players can evolve eligible Axie parts into Nightmare Parts or attempt to acquire ultra-rare Nightmare Bodies, with capped supplies of 39,000 Nightmare Parts and 1,500 Nightmare Bodies.

What Is the Wings of Nightmare?

The event introduces Nightmare Evolutions, allowing players to turn Stage 1 Axie parts into collectible Nightmare Parts. Axies with at least one Nightmare Part become part of the Nightmare Collection, gaining benefits like:

• Fortune Slips: Collectible rewards for Nightmare Axies.
• Increased Rarity: Nightmare Parts are limited and harder to obtain over time.
• New Art: Enhanced visuals for all Axie games.
• Adventure Integration: Boosts in Homeland gameplay with higher Evolved Ratings.

Devolution: The Path to Nightmare Bodies

To acquire a Nightmare Body, players must use Dark Flames to devolve a Nightmare Part. While the process has only a 5% chance of creating a Nightmare Body, it also permanently replaces the Axie’s existing body type.

Eligible Axie body types include:

• Normal, Fuzzy, Big Yak, Curly, Spiky, Wet Dog, and Sumo.

Once acquired, Nightmare Bodies cannot be reverted, and Mystic Axies lose their ability to equip space suits.

How to Evolve or Devolve Axies

For Nightmare Part Evolution:

1. Ensure your Axie has one of the 24 eligible base parts.
2. Gather required materials (AXS and Mementos).
3. Go to App.axie, click Evolve, and choose instant or standard evolution.

For Devolution:

1. Obtain a Dark Flame via App.axie Forge or the marketplace.
2. Go to your Axie’s detail page and select Use Consumable.
3. Choose the part for devolution and confirm the transaction.

Event Details and Supply Management

The 39,000 Nightmare Parts and 1,500 Nightmare Bodies are capped, but Nightmare Part supply is replenished through devolution. Once the cap is reached, obtaining these parts becomes significantly harder.
