Introducing Lumiterra
Lumiterra is a cross-platform, free-to-play MMORPG that blends crafting, exploration, survival, and more into one immersive experience. Players can battle NPC monsters to level up their characters or tame them to help on their farms. Plant crops, water them, fertilize the soil, and reap the rewards. Craft items, trade with other players, and team up to complete quests—using RON as the in-game currency during the Closed Beta Test (CBT).
The game’s ecosystem is rich with in-game items, NFTs, and even a DeFi protocol, Lumi Finance. Whether you’re a casual gamer or someone seeking a deeper Web3 experience, Lumiterra offers something for everyone. Here’s how to dive in:
How to Get Started
Lumiterra’s CBT is set to launch in July, and it comes with an exciting prize pool worth $1 million USD, including RON, in-game assets, and exclusive allowlist spots for future NFT mints. To secure a spot in the CBT, players can complete tasks through the Earn Alliance’s Ronin Week, starting June 24th.
Gameplay: Battle, Craft and Farm
Lumiterra offers a vast open world filled with monsters, resources, and opportunities. Players can battle enemies, gather materials, or even tame hostile creatures for farming purposes. Your character can specialize in three main areas: combat, agriculture, and gathering. Fighting monsters boosts combat experience, taming creatures earns agriculture experience, and gathering resources advances gathering skills.
Combat-focused players can craft better weapons, like swords, while those who focus on agriculture will become better at taming animals and producing resources. Specializing in one area is key, but players can also choose to develop all three skills or team up with others to complement strengths.
Quests, Alliances, and PvP
New players will be introduced to Lumiterra through a series of beginner quests led by Gunner the knight. Completing these quests will teach the basics, like fighting monsters, farming, and resource gathering. Afterward, players can dive into the main storyline, which includes both main and side quests. Whether you’re focused on progressing the story or engaging in MMO gameplay, the choice is yours.
Final Thoughts
Just a year ago, Ronin hosted only a few games and had 50K daily active users (DAU). Now, the ecosystem has expanded significantly, with DAU surpassing 1.5 million. Lumiterra’s arrival on Ronin marks a major milestone for the platform, and we’re thrilled to see what this new game brings to the Ronin universe.
RON will serve as the primary in-game currency during Lumiterra’s CBT.
