Companions Arrive in GOG
The wait is over, Commanders! Starting November 27, 2024, Guardians of the Galaxy introduces Pets, NFT companions that enhance gameplay with passive skills, resource bonuses, and item drops. This rollout marks a new era of strategic depth and personalization in the game.
What Are Pets?
Pets are collectible companions that assist Commanders and Guardians in their adventures. Each Pet possesses passive skills, such as energy restoration or crafting material bonuses, which activate during Adventure Mode runs.
Key features include:
- Item Drops: Pets provide extra rewards like Imperial Souls, Arena Coins, and Endless Coins.
- Skill Tiers: Pets come in four rarities—Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Higher tiers offer additional or stronger skills.
- Companion Limit: Equip up to 3 Pets and activate 6 passive skills simultaneously, with one Pet per class in your party.
Reward Indicators
Two new icons have been added to the rewards section to differentiate Pet-related loot:
- Glowing Paw: Indicates a critical success reward from your Pet.
- Non-Glowing Paw: Marks a standard reward from your Pet.

Worker Pets
- Trixie (For The Empire)
- Chance: 8% chance to earn 3 Imperial Souls.
- Bonus: 10% chance to increase to 12 Imperial Souls.
- Krios (Mighty Miner)
- Chance: 9% chance to earn a Power Stone L.
- Bonus: 10% chance to increase to 4 Power Stones L.
- Cadmus (Crafter)
- Chance: 12% chance to restore 10 Crafting Energy.
- Bonus: 10% chance to increase to 25 Crafting Energy.
Scout Pets
- Reina (Lore Keeper)
- Chance: 8% chance to earn 3 Keeper Souls.
- Bonus: 10% chance to increase to 12 Keeper Souls.
- Selene (Armorer)
- Chance: 12% chance to earn 50 Endless Coins.
- Bonus: 10% chance to increase to 250 Endless Coins.
Hunter Pets
- Rummus (Redeemer)
- Chance: 8% chance to earn 3 Redeemer Souls.
- Bonus: 10% chance to increase to 12 Redeemer Souls.
- Meku (Smart Infuser)
- Chance: 10% chance to earn a Crafting Material Box – INT.
- Bonus: 10% chance to increase to 5 Crafting Material Boxes – INT.
How to Equip and Showcase Your Pets
Your Pets are ready to join your adventures! If you haven’t acquired one yet, head over to TokenTrove to purchase your Pets.
Equipping Your Pets
Follow these steps to equip your Pets:
- Move Pets to Inventory:
- Transfer your Pet(s) from the Vault to Inventory. Pets must be in your Inventory to be equipped.
- Use the Pets Icon:
- Navigate to the Pets icon in the left menu bar.
- Equip Your Pets:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add Pets to your party.
- Limit: Equip up to 3 Pets, with one Pet per class in your lineup.
Showcasing Your Pets
Want to show off your companions? Here’s how:
- Go to Your Commander Info Profile:
- Navigate to your profile.
- Use the Pet Showcase Slots:
- Below the “Guardian Showcase,” you’ll find 3 empty badge slots for Pets.
- Add Your Pets:
- Click on an empty badge to assign a Pet.
