This skill is exclusive to rogue Apostles. Card shark makes your last played card return to the top of the deck while also shielding the rogue and your avatar by 9% of the rogues HP. It even offers a bonus to the shield amount from charging it up by discarding up to 3 cards before use.
This card offers versatile uses in offensive and defensive situations.

For example Curse of Darkfire (FC4) can be used twice in succession thanks to card shark, this means there will be 2 fireballs chasing the enemy avatar at once. Or if it’s crowd control for counter play you would like? You can chain back to back Baby Cages from your Guardian apostle.

And for the defensive option? You could Card Shark a mage’s Switcharoo card to get you out of a sticky position and gain a heal AS WELL as the shielding effect from Card Shark.
If you haven’t got a Rogue with Card Shark you can reroll your seed apostles until you get one or you can purchase on the Apeiron NFT marketplace an apostle NFT with it to avoid any disappointment.
This card is indispensable to get you that competitive edge in Apeiron and is used by almost all of the pro’s. We recommend everyone should aim to have at least 1 rogue with Card Shark in your Apostle roster as the options in gameplay it provides is second to non.
